Gardening in the Texas Hill Country

Gardening in the Texas Hill Country requires you to meet your neighbors, who are quite interested in your tasty little garden. 

Of course, fencing can solve the deer problem. But then there are those beautiful thunderstorms. 

This particular storm dropped softball-sized hail on a distant city, punching through car windshields like fists. A lot of new roofs for that area. 

This was a fun cloud to watch. (note sarcasm)

Proof that water does flow through my little brook area.

Of course, beauty can be found even in the harshest environments. Texas bluebonnets welcome Spring. Time to get the garden ready for planting!
